Sisudiesel 66 CTA-2V, 9265 2002 Parts Catalog – OEM Spare Parts Manual

Sisudiesel 66 CTA-2V 2002 Parts Catalog cover showing engine schematic and Hesston 9265 windrower reference

I’ve been turning wrenches on ag and industrial iron for three decades. When a buddy brought in a Sisudiesel 66 CTA-2V, 9265 2002 Parts Catalog for a Hesston 9265 windrower, I grabbed it. Aftermarket parts lists are garbage – they skip half the washer sizes and guess on bolt grades. This is the real deal: a Finnish factory publication from Sisudiesel, dated 2002, 38 pages thick, covering both the 66 CTA-2V engine and the 9265 machine. If you own either, you need this on your bench, not in a drawer.

Crankshaft and Valve Mechanism – Factory Schematics

Chapter 4 covers the Crankshaft (Kampikoneisto/Vevmekanism). The exploded view shows every main bearing shell, thrust washer, and the exact part numbers for undersize sets – listed on page 17 as “Bearings undersize.” Don’t guess which journal size you need; the catalog lists standard and 0.25 mm under. Chapter 5 is the Valve mechanism (Venttiilikoneisto). Intake and exhaust valves, guides, seats, and the rocker arm assembly are all drawn with reference numbers. The note “S1, S2 = parts included in gasket set I/II” tells you which gaskets to order if you’re pulling the head. You’ll also find the valve stem seals listed under separate part numbers – something the aftermarket ignores.

Cylinder Head and Block – 18 Subsystems Documented

Page 1 shows the Cylinder block assembly (Sylinteriryhmä). The main part is 8368 66110 – the bare block. Next to it, liner sleeves, piston cooling jets, and the camshaft bushing. Page 6 covers the Cylinder head (Sylinterikansi). Factory part numbers for the head gasket, valve cover, and injector sleeves are all there. The TOC also lists the gear housing, flywheel, turbo piping, oil sump, coolant pump, fuel pump, and EEM3 electronic control parts. That’s 18 separate chapters – every subsystem on the engine. Need the oil filter part? Page 10. The alternator? Page 15. Every reference ties back to the OEM number, not a “this fits” guess.

OEM Documentation vs. Aftermarket Copies

Why does factory matter? The aftermarket catalogs I’ve seen for Sisudiesel engines renumber parts and leave out the “K” repair kit groups. This manual shows which parts belong to a repair kit at the end of the page – marked with a K symbol. The “+” symbol tells you a fastener is included in the assembly, not sold separately. That kind of detail keeps you from ordering a bolt you already have. Every illustration is captioned in Finnish, Swedish, English, and German, so the part descriptions are unambiguous.

7 Systems Covered – Fuel, Cooling, Turbo, Starter, Alternator, Oil Filter, Engine Repair

Flip to the fuel pump section (page 12) and you get the entire injection pump mounting, drive gear, and fuel lines. The fuel filter chapter (page 13) lists the filter head and bowl with separate part numbers. The coolant pump page (11) shows the impeller, seal kit, and gasket. Turbo piping (page 8) and the EEM3 electronic parts (page 14) are in there too. For ag guys: the engine repair parts chapter (page 18) covers oversize pistons, liners, and ring sets. If you’re rebuilding from the crank up, you need that page to order the right undersize bearings and oversized liners.

Does This Manual Cover the Hesston 9265 Windrower?

Yes. The catalog title includes “Hesston 9265 Windrower 140/2500” – that’s the engine rating (140 hp at 2500 rpm). The parts listed are all specific to that application. The engine number range starts at R 17475. If your 9265 is newer than that, the manual still applies – the “/ *8” note tells you to see page 8 for later engine numbers. This is not a generic engine catalog; it was assembled for the 9265.

FAQ

Is this a service repair manual or just a parts list?
Parts catalog. It shows exploded diagrams and part numbers – no step-by-step repair instructions. You’ll need a service manual for torque specs and clearance values.
Why are there four languages on each page?
Original Sisudiesel factory document. Finnish, Swedish, English, German. Helps when ordering parts from Finland or cross-referencing with local suppliers. The part numbers are global.

If you’re rebuilding a Sisudiesel 66 CTA-2V or maintaining a Hesston 9265, start with the right part numbers. Download the Factory Manual and keep it in your tool box.
