Turn to the Maintenance section, page 57. The refill capacities table gives you oil, coolant, and fuel tank volumes in Imperial units – quarts and gallons, not liters. That matters when you are at the parts counter and need to know how much 15W-40 to pour in. The manual also tells you which viscosity to use for your climate zone. No guesswork.

4 Critical Engine Starting Steps

The starting procedure on pages 45–47 is not a suggestion. Pre-lube, crank interval, wait-to-start light behavior – each step is timed. The manual explains why you must not crank longer than 30 seconds without a cool-down. I have replaced starters on engines where the operator just held the key.
